Prof. Ravi Allada (Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, USA) will present research related to this year's Nobel prize in Medicin/Physiology.

Ravi Allada is the Edward C. Stuntz Distinguished Professor of Neuroscience, Chair of the Department of Neurobiology, and Associate Director for the Center for Sleep and Circadian Biology at Northwestern University.

Ravi was a postdoc in the lab of one of the Nobel laureates, Michael Rosbash, and after that he has for many years investigated clock genes, mechanisms in clock function and sleep regulation in Drosophila.
