Information on the Tovetorp Meeting!

SEFALO+ will end during the summer of 2008, and we will therefore arrange a final meeting at Tovetorps Research Station south of Stockholm May 14-15 2008. Results and opinions from the SEFALO+ project will be presented and discussed during the meeting. All participating partners have been invited. More information regarding this meeting can be found here! The publication list have been updated with the latest SEFALO+ reports to EU/Life.

 

In the summer of 2007, at least 23 arctic fox litters were born in Sweden and 13 in Norway.

In the summer of 2006, three arctic fox litters were born in Sweden. In Norway, five litters were born whereas no litters were born in Finland. Here you can see the population trends: Sweden 1974-2006 (reproducing adults) and Finland 1985-2002 (individuals).

 
The arctic fox is a priority species under the Actions by the Community relating to the Environment (ACE). It is therefore to be given full protection. SEFALO+ is a 5-year conservation programme for the arctic fox 2003 - 2008 in Sweden, Norway and Finland
