   Human Cultural Evolution
The latest addition to my list of research interests concerns the evolution of human culture, where I will investigate how to apply phylogenetic comparative methods on cultural traits. I conduct this resarch at the Centre for the Study of Cultural Evolution.

   Mammal Brain Evolution
I am conducting investigations of if sex and species differences in the mammal brain can be tied to sex differences in behaviour. The results this far indicate that behavioural differences have had a large impact on the primate brain.

  Parasite Diversity
The research theme that I started during my post-doc focuses on investigating what determines parasite diversity. The results are multifaceted this far. Mammal parasite records that we collected for this work are available at the Global Mammal Parasite Database.

   Sexual Size Dimorphism
I have otherwise mainly focused on the use of phylogenetic comparative methods, especially investigating sexual size dimorphism in primates, pinnipeds and shorebirds.
